Unity Bay Area Houston is a loving spiritual community embracing the teachings of Jesus Christ and other expressions of Universal Truth. We inspire minds, awaken hearts, and empower lives.
Covenant
As a member of Unity Bay Area Houston, I am joyously committed to:
- developing a meaningful relationship with God,
- honoring & loving myself & others as spiritual beings,
- living Unity principles in my daily life,
- serving God & this ministry with my time, talent & treasure,
- participating in creating an environment for spiritual growth & transformation.
I am welcomed as part of a spiritual community that thrives on the active contribution of its members to fulfill our mission and vision. Our ministry and Unity movement are based on prayer and sacred service. Therefore, I agree to prayerfully consider the ways that I will contribute to my spiritual community.

BASIC UNITY PRINCIPLES
- There is only One Presence and One Power in the universe—God, the Good, Omnipotent.
- Each individual is unique and divine by nature. We refer to this divinity as the Christ within.
- We create our life experiences through our thoughts, beliefs, words, feelings and actions.
- Through affirmative prayer and meditation we consciously connect with God and open ourselves to God’s guidance.
- We demonstrate our spiritual understanding through our words, actions, and loving service
MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA
- Complete this Membership Application form and return it prior to Membership Ceremony
- Read, sign and honor the Membership Covenant above.
- Attend a Membership Orientation Class.
- Attend the Sunday Celebration Service for the New Member’s Ceremony.

Unity’s basic text is the Bible, and Jesus Christ is our Way-Shower. We seek to always be true to spiritual principle as we lovingly, courageously, and creatively use the power of the Christ Self to resolve our issues, and dissolve everything that keeps the light of Truth from finding its perfect expression through us.
